We know that reaching out about a book can feel daunting. This page explains how we work, who we’re best placed to support, and what to expect if you get in touch.

There is no single “right” stage to contact us. Some authors come to us with a clear idea, others with a draft, and some with a story that’s still forming. All are welcome.

Who we work with

We work with authors seeking a collaborative, flexible approach to publishing.

This may include:

  • First-time authors
  • Writers developing a book idea or an early draft
  • Authors seeking editorial or publishing support
  • Disabled or neurodivergent writers
  • Authors navigating health, caring, or complex life circumstances
  • Anyone who feels traditional publishing models don’t quite fit

You do not need an agent, prior publishing experience, or a finished manuscript to contact us.

What can we help with

Depending on where you are in your journey, we can offer:

  • book coaching and creative support
  • editorial guidance and development
  • publishing and production support
  • help understanding next steps and options

Not every enquiry leads to full publishing, and that’s okay. Sometimes, a conversation, signposting, or a small piece of support is the right place to begin.

How to get in touch

If you’re interested in working with us, you can contact us in whichever way feels most comfortable:

You don’t need to send anything formal. A short message telling us a little about your idea, your stage, and the support you’re looking for is more than enough.

What happens next

Once you get in touch:

  • We’ll read your message carefully
  • We may ask a few gentle follow-up questions
  • We’ll suggest next steps or options based on your needs

There is no pressure to commit, and no obligation to move forward unless it feels right for you.

We aim to make our processes as accessible and transparent as possible. If you have specific communication needs, access requirements, or concerns about pace or format, you’re welcome to let us know.

Publishing should not feel intimidating. Our role is to support, guide, and make space for stories to be told.

If you have a book in mind — whether it’s an idea, a draft, or something in between — and you’re looking for a publishing partner who will meet you where you are, we’d be glad to hear from you.
