Talks and Workshops
Conversations around inclusive publishing, access, and making space for stories.
We offer talks and workshops for schools, organisations, and community groups who are interested in inclusive publishing and how literature can be made more accessible in practice.
Our approach is reflective, conversational, and grounded in real experience. We aim to create space for understanding, discussion, and practical insight rather than deliver fixed, one-size-fits-all sessions.
WHAT WE CAN TALK ABOUT
What we can explore
We tailor each session, but topics may include:
- What inclusive publishing means in practice
- Author-led approaches and why they matter
- Removing barriers within publishing and creative work
- Supporting diverse voices and lived experiences
- Making space for different ways of writing and storytelling
Sessions can be adapted depending on age group, setting, and focus.
WHO IT’S FOR
Who this is for
We work with:
- Schools and education settings
- Community and voluntary organisations
- Charities and support services
- Creative groups and writing communities
We are particularly interested in working with spaces that support inclusion, access, and wellbeing.
HOW SESSIONS WORK
How sessions are shaped
Each session is designed collaboratively.
This means:
- We adapt content to your setting and audience
- We work at a pace that feels comfortable
- We remain flexible in format and delivery
- We create space for questions and discussion
Sessions can be delivered in person or online.
FEES
Fees and access
We aim to keep this work as accessible as possible, while recognising the time, preparation, and care involved.
As a guide:
- talks and workshops typically range from £150–£400, depending on the type of organisation, session length, and preparation required
We are always open to conversation, particularly for schools, community groups, and organisations working with limited budgets.
